OAK, WHITE (Quercus alba) Aka Alba Oak and Stave Oak. Oak is a tree of the God. The Druids used the sacred wood for their Midsummer fires to summon protection and bring them strength. White oak is used for courage, endurance, fertility, helps remove unnecessary burdens in one’s life and enhance wisdoms and connections from the earth, nature, wildlife and our ancestors. It is also used in making fine whiskey barrels. Oak is the masculine counterpart to the Birch Goddess.

PARSLEY (Petroselinum sativum) Aka Devils Oatmeal, Percely, Persillade. A scared herb and symbol of death and rebirth, Parsley is known as a funeral herb and is added to posies and garlands to help with the proceedings. The Ancient Greeks used parsley in crowns to honour the victors during the Funeral Games. Add Parsley to fertility, healing, protection and purification amulets, incense and sachets and to help call upon inner strength and agility. It is also used to enhance spirit communication. Apparently it is said that the Devil loves this plant and will steal it from ones garden.

RED CLOVER (Trifolium spp.) Aka Heart Trefoil, Honey Stalks, Red Shamrock, Trefoil, Trifoil. Traditionally Red Clover has been used as a blood purifier and general tonic, treating skin conditions and urinary stones, promotes calmness and rest.  It helps in healing magick concerning feminine energies.
